For all of you supernaturals out there: have you noticed that your emotions can be more or less intense than a non-supernaturals' emotions? For most of my life, my emotions have seemed to be stronger than other peoples' emotions. There are times, however, that I will burn out emotionally and feel TOTALLY apathetic, numb, empty, emotionless. It does take a lot for me to get to that point, though. I suspect that my Vampire side contributes heavily to this emotional intensity. But my Fae side is also dark, thus I don't really have that carefree, whimsical energy that a lighter Faerie might have. Thoughts? Experiences? Please share!

Yes, I have noticed this. And around humans, I normally am less emotional than around other supernaturals. Around my own kind, I feel like i can be myself. And I do feel exagurated when I try to explain how I feel sometimes. Maybe that's the vampire in me too, but I really don't know. I seem to feel the same kind of way. I normally only feel solemn when around my family and other humans, but around supernaturals I almost feel manic to a degree...maybe it is energy feeding that we all do, like sense each other and just all of a sudden our emotions explode... Could it possibly be an old instinct? Like everyone still gets those instincts to hunt or protect their young, whatever, so maybe this is some type of instinct as well? I'm not sure. Something I would love to look into as well

Actually I've felt very similar to this too. Around other people I act a little different then around my best friend, who is also a Vampire, We feel almost on the same level as each other. Around other supernaturals I feel stronger emotions then I do around my family or friends. If it is some sort of ancient instinct that our kind experiences then I too would like to know more!

I also find that I do not always even have to talk with a supernatural, not mind reading, but empathy. I feel exactly what they are feeling at the time and can use the words they are trying to say before it even happens. I think supernaturals have some very amazing common bonds that we all need to strengthen to become a tighter community

Definitely, I agree with you both. We are meant to seek out others of our kind. There is this drive within us that others do not have, and I believe it is there for a reason. We are naturally driven to join together, because as a whole, we will be able to unlock doors that lead to answers, truths, and new possibilities. There are many secrets & mysteries that we cannot uncover unless we work together. I have been able to find out many things on my own, but now it is time to reach out in order to accomplish more, and to re-discover ancient powers/realities/knowledge.

While on this subject of trying to join together,
I remember, about a year ago when I started learning all about the Vampire Culture and who I am and all that, I remember some one saying there was a man, who dreamed of conjoining the Vampire race in making a nation.
A nation of Vampires.
Some sort of Civil war went down or something? (I really don't pay attention too much, so I'm not sure) and the Head of the Vampires, said no. They won, The Vampire Nation was never formed and now we're separated through out the world, unknowing if we really are what we are. (Again, I barely remember any of this, so there is a huge possibility I'm leaving something out or have a bit of the info mixed up?)
If any of that if based on actual truth, It would be great to see us join together and maybe make it actually happen?
